Here’s a suggested itinerary for a day trip
8:00 AM - Meetup and Departure Meet up with your group at a designated location in Metro Manila. Departure to Masungi Georeserve will be at 8:00 AM. It is advisable to bring a packed breakfast, as the journey may take 1-2 hours depending on traffic.
10:00 AM - Arrival and Briefing Upon arrival at Masungi Georeserve, you will be greeted by the friendly staff who will give you a brief introduction and safety briefing. You will be required to wear a helmet and a harness, as you will be trekking and crossing rope bridges.
10:30 AM - Start of Trail The trail starts with a short walk to the entrance of the georeserve. From there, you will be treated to a panoramic view of the Sierra Madre mountain range. The trail includes rope bridges, limestone formations, and a cave that will lead you to the heart of the reserve.
12:30 PM - Lunch After completing the trail, you will be treated to a sumptuous lunch overlooking the breathtaking view of the mountains. The menu includes local Filipino dishes and fresh fruits.
2:00 PM - Free Time After lunch, you may opt to explore the area further or simply relax and take in the sights and sounds of nature. You may also take the time to purchase souvenirs at the gift shop.
4:00 PM - Departure At 4:00 PM, you will depart from Masungi Georeserve and head back to Metro Manila. The estimated arrival time is at 6:00 PM, depending on traffic.
